I’m trying to find out the most accurate way of calculating the height of a cliff I jumped off, if I count the time of flight.

s = 1/2 at^2, where a = 32 feet/sec/sec, to get distance in feet.

In one second you fall 16 feet, in two seconds you’ll fall 1/2 * 4 * 32 = 64.

In 3 you’ll go 1/2 * 9 * 32 = 144. In 4 seconds it’s 1/2 * 16 * 32 = 256 feet

However, I believe you lose about 10% from air resistance.
