The area is beautiful. The swimming hole is absolutely gorgeous. 52? from the ledge. Add another 5? for my truck. And you have to jump out to clear an underwater ledge. One of my favorite jumps – Carl Neuman
Directions from 87 Thruway, get off exit 21 Cairo merge onto 23B toward S Cairo/Cairo. Turn left at County Rt 47 for .3 miles and turn right onto rt 23. After about 7 miles go right onto Rt 145 and follow that for about 6 miles until you come to Furlongs Pub and take that road on the right called Stone Bridge Rd and the bridge is right as you turn on the road. There are a few different spots to jump from the cliffs around it ranging from 10 feet to about 30 feet and also the bridge which is about 50 feet. If you decide to jump from the bridge please note you have to jump out as far as you can from in front of the guard rail which is about 6 inches for your feet to go. The water is pretty deep and very clear. Have fun and be Safe!
