Ashley and I went to St. Lucia in May of 2010 for our honeymoon. The Joe Knows Tour was recommended to us by some friends here at home. When we ran into one of Joe’s sales reps on the beach, we jumped at the chance to take the tour. Joe had just added a new triple outboard boat to his tour, along with the smaller boat that we rode on. The new boat looked awesome, but riding with Joe in the smaller boat was definitely the way to go. The boat was fast, comfortable, and stocked with enough Piton beer and Rum Punch to serve all of us. We followed the western coast from the capital city of Castries all the way down to Soufriere and the incredible twin peaks – the Pitons; stopping for some snorkeling along the way. One of Joe’s shuttles picked us up in Soufriere and took us to the Sulphur Springs, and then to a waterfall to cool off. We wrapped up the day with a traditional St. Lucian lunch and one of the most incredible views I’ve ever seen. For the finale, Joe stopped at an incredible coastal rock formation and let those of us who wanted to go cliff jumping take the plunge! We headed back to the hotel and he pulled the boat right up to the beach and dropped us off. This was hands-down the best way we could have ever imagined seeing St. Lucia. Thanks to Joe, Big Willie, and the rest of the Joe Knows staff!
