Approach is made from Durlston Country Park Durlston Country Park lies just to the south of Swanage, which nestles south of Poole Harbour (between Bournemouth and Weymouth). The park is well signposted from Swanage town centre. Park your car in the large car-park and follow the private road down towards the lighthouse. You will pass two pylons, which mark the eastern boundary of a marked nautical mile. Follow the cliff-top westwards for one mile to the western pylons. Thirty yards beyond the lower pylon, a track descends leftwards towards the cliff edge. Follow this down to the point where the cliff-top makes a squarish corner and becomes rock pavement, You are now standing above The Conger Cave.
