Going North on the highway 30 from Lanai on the Western Shore of Maui, turn left onto Kaanapali Prkwy. This is the strip with most of the Maui resorts on it, so you can pretty much ask anyone where it is. Drive down the Kaanapali until you are almost at the end and find somewhere to park. Walk towards the ocean to the Kaanapali Beach. This was voted one of the best beaches in all of Hawaii and has earned the name The Beautiful People Beach. Walk down the beach to your right (if your facing the ocean) until you get to the end. Black Rock is the point and you will recognize it as something to jump off of. Be sure to wear shoes because the rock is volcanic rock. There are tiki torches guiding the way to the jump site. After the jump there is a way to get back up under the jump site but this can be pretty tough in bigger waves. Kaanapali is a great place to swim and relax as well as a great night life in some of the Hotel Clubs.
