Details
This section of the Verde is in the Mazatzal Wilderness and is quite remote. The way to get there is to drive East out of Camp Verde, AZ, about ten miles to the Forest Service Rd that takes you to the Childs Powerplant. We put in our inflatable canoe at Childs. These shots were taken about 25 miles downstream. There’s no other real way to get there, except by the river.
