Start in Middlebury, Vermont, and take route 7 south from downtown middlebury. You will drive through farm fields for about ten to fifteen minutes until you see signs for lake dunmore. Take a left off route seven onto the road around lake dunmore, you'll travel on this for a few minutes until you see a small pullout on the left side of the road for the Falls of Lana. If you get lost, it is easy to ask anyone there (there are houses all over) where the falls are. At the pullout, walk up next to the huge black pipe until you meet a dirt road, walk off the dirt road to the left and you should here the falls. Wind your way down through the forest and rocks (there is sick rock climbing here) until you see the falls. You can jump into a deep pool ( we never touched bottom) at a 15, 30, and 35 roughly foot mark and swim out easily. Directions to the falls should also be on the internet somewhere else too, its a hiker destination as well as a sick jump.
