Directions: take Hwy 105 from Boone,NC going towards Linville. after about 5 miles you will pass through a stoplight. After the stoplight, a couple more miles on the left will be a caboose in a gravel parking lot. the dam is to the right of the caboose and down a steep, but short trail.
