Take highway 99 north of Vancouver to Whistler. You will pass through most of Whistler and on the other side just as you are exiting on the north side you will see Green Lake on your right. The last division in Whistler is called Emerald. Just after Emerald, watch for a sign that says “OUTDOOR ADVENTURES”, this is the entrance to Cougar Mountain. You will see a spot to park right here. Your destination is across the highway. So cross the highway and look for a beaten path that will head right. Follow the path for a few minutes, it should start to merge towards the water. If you are close to the water and can see across the lake you should see a fallen tree on the other side, straight across, which means you are close to the cliffs. There is a rope that hangs down from the cliffs to help you get back up, so once you see that you know you found them. The biggest cliff here is about 40 or 50 feet with other varying smaller ones.
The lake is freakin cold, as it is a glacier lake but it’s the most gorgeous aqua green color. You lose the sun here at about 5ish so you probably want to go earlier in the day.
