There are many excellent swimming and jumping spots in this canyon which runs for several miles inside the Ordesa National Park boundary. The rive at the bottom of the canyon is the Rio Arazas which starts as snow melt on nearby Monte Perdido so the water is “refreshing” even in mid summer. Access to the park is from normally from the South: From Ainsa, take the N-260 north-west through Broto, then continue north on the A-135 to Torla. As you enter the village look out for a large car park on the right (daily fee 825 pesetas), from where you catch a shuttle bus into the Ordesa Valley (private vehicles are no longer allowed). Buy bus tickets from the hut (375 pesetas return). Once in the park take the path which follows the Left hand side of the river and just keep your eyes open. Two of the best spots are relatively low down on the path (the first is from a foot bridge which crosses the river).
