“Ponte Brolla” is located at the entry to the Valle Maggia (“Magic Valley”) north to the little town Locarno at the great lake “Lago Maggiore”. 300 meters after crossing the railway line you can find it on the left hand. There you have to climb down into the valley. You can dive down from about 7, 10, 13, 15 and 20 Meter. The water is deep enough there (about 10 Meter and deeper). This is checked by the local divers every year when the season starts. Beware of the days, the river is running high water levels, may be after strong rain. Then never ever dive down into the water! The local diving scene is very helpful and friendly. Every Summer in Ponte Brolla is held the European Cliff Diving Contest, watched by hundreds of spectators. For everyone who wants to stay for some days the Camping location “Piccolo Paradiso” (Small paradise) is highly recommended. It’s only ten minutes away from Ponte Brolla.
