This is probably one of the best jump sites on Deep Creek in terms of accessibility versus great jumps and water. It was actually featured in National Geographic magazine in 2003. The main jump is 35 feet, with a pyramid rock that tops out at around 50 feet or so. From San Bernardino take Waterman Ave/Hwy 18 north into the San Bernardino mountains. Turn left (north) on Hwy 173. Turn right on Hooks Creek Rd. near the town of Cedar Glen. Follow this road downhill as it turns to dirt. Make a left at a sign that says Pacific Crest Trail access and follow this road a short distance to a parking area. You
