This Cliff jumping spot is located in Fort Montgomery, NY in Bear Mountain park 5 min. from the Bear Mountain bridge in Orange County NY. You have to take the NYS thruway to the palisades parkway to the Bear Mountain bridge. Just before the Bear Mountain bridge you have to enter a round about just before the bridge and make a right following the sign that goes to west pont/ Newburgh. After making the right you cross a bridge over a river and directly past that you have to make left onto Firefighter memorial dr. once you make that left make your first left onto McCoy rd. there is parking on the right side enough for 4 cars. Park and walk up the hill about 200 yards where the road turns right but keep walking straight till u see a trail entrance. Follow trail for less than 5 min and and you will end up at the spot. There are 6 spots to jump from – 6 , 15, 20, 40, 50, and 70FT ledge. Have Fun!
