Firestone River, Yellowstone. Highly illegal ($250 fine if caught). Listen for the woman who yells “Here comes a Ranger!!” at the very end. I narrowly escaped a major ticket. The guy on top of the cliff at the end of the video was busted.
Directions: Firehole Swim Area From Madison, travel about 2 miles/3 kilometers south on the Grand Loop Road. Turn right on the Firehole Canyon Drive one way road follow it until you come to parking for the swim area. From Old Faithful, drive about 14 miles/22 kilometers north along the main park road west side-lower loop to Firehole Canyon Drive turnoff. Take a left onto the one way road until you reach parking for the swim area.
