From I-95 in Niantic take exit 75, then take Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 for about half a mile and take a right onto Calkins Rd. (go slow because its very easy to go by, its surrounded by a brick wall). Follow Calkins Rd. to the end and u will see a trail straight ahead leading into the woods. Either park on the side of the road and walk the trail or if you have a 4wd vehicle you can drive it. The trail will end in a big circle with a beach. Take the small trail to the right and just follow the river down about a 5 min walk and you will find Indian Rock! Its a great place to show off for all the boats that come by on the river, but be careful because the depth can change depending on the tide.
