Details
The reservoir is approximately 2.5 miles north of the route 32 and route 26 intersection in Eldersburg, MD. As you approach the reservoir on route 32 going north, there are cliffs off to the left. The cliffs are approximately 100 feet from the bridge and can be found by following a drainage path leading from the road (route 32). The shoulder is very wide before the bridge and allows for plenty of parking. The bridge is also a nice jump as well. I have not measured the heights of the cliffs, but I would estimate them to be around 20-25 feet high and the bridge is around 50-60 feet or higher. The water is very deep and free of any debris.
