To get to North Beach, start in Burlington VT, take North Ave north, turn left at the high school and park in the high school parking lot (or drive down to the beach and pay to park) Once on the beach, head north to the woods, there will be a path leading back up and into the woods. Take it, bear left and the first fork and make for the water. Once again, this is a popular spot and easy to find. The water is deep (I came up with a handfull of sand only once – and I was trying pretty hard ot get to the bottom after a dive) There are a couple different levels to jump off of, the highest being just under 30 feet by my guess. I've seen some idiots jump out of the trees – also saw one kid break his arm doing this, wouldn't recomend it. Since this is near a beach, there is some good swimming. Hike farther bcak into the woods and you'll come across Rock point, I've yet to swin out to that, so I dont know if it makes for good jumping or not.
