From Redding CT, Get to the Mark Twain Library and turn left out of the parking lot. Go straight at the intersection. You will pass John Read Middle School on your right. You can park there and hike maybe half a mile to the spot or park right across the street from the spot. If you choose to continue (recommended), continue North on 53 until you see two spots to pull over on the right side of the road right before the second hill and first right hand turn that you will see after passing John Read Middle School. Cross the street and find one of the many paths that go from the street to the spot.
