Details
From Portland, head east on I-84 toward Cascade Locks/Hood River. After roughly 41 miles take exit 44 towards Cascade Locks. Merge onto Cascade Locks Hwy/US Hwy 30/Wa Na Pa St. Take first right onto Pacific Crest Trail toward Bridge of the Gods. Continue on Bridge of the Gods (toll bridge) and cross over Columbia River into Washington. Turn right onto WA Hwy 14/Evergreen Hwy. After 14.7 miles turn left on Cook-Underwood Rd. After 2.0 miles (at milepost 2) park on the right side of the road at gravel pull-out.
Unmarked trailhead is located 10 yards south of milepost 2. Trail zig zags down talus field down to Little White Salmon River and Spirit Falls.
