Details

Get on I-205 north and cross the bridge going over the Columbia River into Vancouver, Washington. Take the first exit directly after the bridge. Immediately get in and stay in the left lane (under the sign that says Camas). Follow this road (the Lewis and Clark Highway, highway 14) until you pass through Camas and enter Washougal. Continue through Washougal until you get to the 3rd signal. You’ll see a police station with a tower on your left, this is 15th street. Take a left at this point. 15th street will turn into Washougal River road (highway 140). Stay on this road (for about a half hour) until it turns into gravel. At this point the road forks, take the right fork, staying closer to the river. Drive along the gravel road for about two miles until you will get to another bridge (the first being right before the road turns to gravel). Park at this bridge and make your way to the river however. The jump is about a half mile downstream from here. I’ve been to a lot of places, including many on this website, and this is one of my favorites. Lava flow from the past (St. Helens) formed the river into some really cool shapes, it’s awesome.
