From the village of Edzell Head north on the B966 for 2 miles till You cross a bridge.Park in the car park just after the bridge on the left. Beside the bridge there is a little blue door go through it and head along the path for a few hundred meters till you come to a sign on a tree that says “cave pool” go down the mud path from here and the jumps will be just on the right hand side. The cave pool is pitch black and is so deep that no 1 have touched the bottom. To jump the 40fter swim across the river to the other side and climb the steps up to the high platform above. You can jump from the smaller bit which is 30ft. The 40fter is round the corner and up a few more stairs to the left. Walk to the edge and slowly climb down the slope to the edge.this jump jumps over the 20fters path and is a good gap to clear. Run down the slope and jump between the tree and the rock sticking out.(This jump is only for the best of all jumpers) Down at the bottom there is a rope swing that you can play on at the very bottom or u can throw it up to the 30fter and swing of there. This place is a great place to muck about and jump. It also has stunning scenery, so please lets keep it that way…NO LITTER… thanks
