From Vancouver take the Horseshoe bay ferry. When entering Nanaimo off the ferry, take hwy 99 southbound to Victoria. After passing south gate mall (about 10 minutes from the ferry). You should see a large building with a sign that says Loyal Order of the Moose, turn right there. After 10 minutes on this road, it will merge with a road called Nanaimo river road. Follow this road for two minutes and turn on your first left. You will see a house on the right and a rundown barn in front of you. Follow the trail down to the river. There will be signs warning you of Danger. A few people have died here due to swimming in the rapids further up stream. The cliff area is safe. The trail takes you right down to the three cliffs. “Pride Rock, Goats Bluff and Show Time”. This is a very popular spot for teenagers to come swimming during the summer months(lots of hot girls to show off for).
