From Ottawa take the Highway 5 north (Maniwaki’s direction). More far, the Highway 5 becomes 105 North Road. On 105 North Road, turn right on Valley Drive street. By this street, you come into the Wakefield’s Village. Turn left on Riverside road and go straight away 5-10 minutes in the village (the covered bridge is visible from the village) as far, as Highway 366. Turn right on Highway 366 and go straight away a little bit. At the corner from the Highway 366 and Wakefield Heights Street, turn right on Wakefield Heights Street. After 2 or 3 minutes of car riding, you can see a parking lot from your left and the Wakefield Covered Bridge is visible immediately at the right side of the road. I have three good recommendations: 1- dive in the middle of the bridge (like the picture). 2- keep an eye to the cops, because the police station is close from the covered bridge. 3- It’s a very nice spot, he have a beautiful little beach with rocks for tanning and having fun with your friends. The Wakefield Village is nice too.
